Water Mill

Location

East Trenean Farm - Widegates, Looe, Cornwall.

Description

The water Mill is an 18th century, grade II listed building which, as the name suggests, has been beautifully converted from the old water mill, in fact you can still see parts of the original mechanism inside the cottage today!

The water mill is a comfortable, open and light cottage and due to its upside-down layout is full of charm and character complete with original beams and exposed stone walls.

On the ground floor you will find a well equipped kitchen and lounge with log burner, dining table and comfy sofas.

Downstairs is the family shower room with extra large shower cubicle and the 2 spacious bedrooms perfect for smaller families.

The beds in each room are zip link beds that can go from a super king double to 2 twin beds.

Bedroom 1 has double doors that lead to a patio area ideal for breakfast in sun.

No bleach or harmful chemicals are used in order to protect the fragile eco-environment at The Water Mill.

The water supply comes from a spring-fed borehole which is filtered, so no need to buy bottled as our spring water is "on tap"!

Outside you will find a Secluded private sunny garden surrounded by laurel hedging with seating area and BBQ to enjoy summer nights with family.

The cottages have its own chickens on the grounds, laying free range eggs and sheep grazing on the land close by!

There is also a shared hot tub where you can relax and enjoy far-reaching countryside views down the wooded valley to Seaton on the Cornish coast with a glimpse of the sea. – the hot tub is accessed by a simple booking system.

If extra space is needed for more family members there is also a very spacious 1 bed barn conversion that is available close by. Please ask us for more information and we will happily provide photographs and pricing.
