Just let us know how we can best support you in your holiday preparation and we will create personalised visual countdown calendar or timetable for you!

Inside the holiday homes you will find a set of visuals to help support you while on holiday, there is also a “now, next, later” travel keyring to take out and about with you as well as some information about the local area.

We work closely with all of our holiday home owners so there will always be someone available to help should you have any problems during your holiday. Please contact Spectrum Holidays in the first instance with any queries or issues and if applicable we will contact the holiday home owner on your behalf. More information

Once upon a time Haggerston castle was a large country estate, now it is a lovely holiday park set in wonderful woodland with elegant Italian gardens and a boating lake. The castle tower still stands and now features a rooftop bar!

This park is the perfect retreat and holiday for all the family with landscaped walkways, 9-hole golf course and heated indoor swimming pool.

The park recently underwent a multi-million-pound development of their garden atrium style complex which now houses an indoor soft play, amusement centre, the Live lounge, restaurant and new VR dungeon!

Activities on offer at Haggerston include: Segway’s, archery, aerial adventure course and Nature rockz area with ranger led activities. There is also horse riding on site too.

There is a mini market, laundrette and takeaways on site and supermarkets a short drive away in Berwick.

Haggerston castle lies just a few minutes away from Spittal beach, with its sandy beaches and coastal walks it’s a very popular place for families and a good place for spotting seals and dolphins!

Haggerston is close to an array of castles; Alnwick castle, which is the largest inhabited castle in the Europe and is of course most famous for being a location used in the Harry Potter movies. They have lots of activities on throughout the year, as well as having, on the same site, the award-winning visitor attraction, Alnwick Gardens. With its beautiful 12 acres of magnificent gardens, tree house restaurant and stunning water features that children can play in, Alnwick Castle and Gardens is a fantastic day out.

Bamburgh castle, loved locally for its amazing history and beautiful views across the coast, as well as the famously haunted Chillingham castle are all close by and well worth a visit.

Holy island is just 6 miles away and accessed by a causeway is a hugely popular place to visit.

The Farne islands are beautiful and home to thousands of sea birds and puffins. Sightseeing boats to the islands leave from Seahouses harbour regularly.

Like all caravans, due to fire safety regulations the windows do not lock with a key. The front door uses a key lock from the outside and a turn button lock from the inside. The french doors use a turn button lock from the inside and can only be locked/unlocked from the inside. The windows double as a means of escape route so we are unable to add restrictors to doors or windows.

Haggerston Castle holiday park has lots of lakes of varying sizes on the grounds. Our caravan is sited on  Turnberry and there are no lakes in that area.
